The building itself is clean and tidy.However the customer service is terrible. Reception don't want to help and have no empathy.The administration team still force you to use paper (letters) instead of the more secure and quicker email.Finally, they are try to charge for letters, personal information etc. Healthcare is a people business and the staff at Hillview have not had the training to deal with customers/people, or they simply cannot be bothered.I will be moving GP after my experience and encourage others to show dissatisfaction by moving - instead of putting up with it.
This surgery used to be so nice and friendly, just spoken to a reception lady on the phone not sure if she was having a bad day, but she was so rude and just sounded like she cant be bothered, bit of a shame.
My family (husband, daughter and parents) transferred to Hillview from another practice. Between us we have been seen for urgent, incredibly serious, and chronic problems. The care has always been excellent with the doctors and nurses thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I have found the admin team to be helpful and professional at all times.
I joined the practice around three years ago, and I have always received excellent care and service from all the doctors I have seen. Recently I have had to come in several times in a short space of time and the reception staff and doctors have all be more than helpful. I would like to express a special thanks to Dr Kate Bulmer who has gone over and above to help me. Thanks to all the team, I would highly recommend.
The service is good and the waiting lounge is very nice. The reception staff and nurses are polite and accommodating. They are all very professional and according to my husband, he is happy his GP remembers him despite having lots of patients (He had a bad almost funny experience with previous GP in Pirbright surgery). Parking is good as well! The only negative thing is that if we want to make an appointment, the waiting period is long.
