Quick dinner with the husband. Food was lovely. Service was quick and polite.
Average. We ordered the festive menu and it was good, the soup was supposed to come with ciabatta bread and it came with standard bread. The toilets could be more clean. Apart from that, everything was OK, similar to the food you can eat in other pubs.
Great food, very helpful staff and clean establishment. Did have to send 2 dishes back to be reheated but the quality didn't suffer. It was the potato on both plates so probably missed in haste. Think they just struggled with how busy it was, and at this time of year seeing how enthusiatic and polite they were they can have that one. We had booked for a large party and they coped very well during an obvious staff shortage.Would not put me off going back.
We stopped here as we were passing by and it was very worthwhile!Children were given plenty of attention by very friendly staff.Lots of food choices and each plate we saw go out looked amazing!Food was lovely and atmosphere matched!Puddings were a bit on the expensive side for what they were, but it wasn't a deterrent!Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.Thank you for a fabulous impromptu lunch!
Staff here absolutely top notch. Had an excellent evening. Chicken pizza was dry and lacking flavour but food was otherwise good. Would recommend the spicy pizza in particular. Several bottles of Cloudy Bay and an espresso martini all great. Carefully catered for nut allergy.
