Another nice meal at the Herbert Wells. We ordered through the app and it came incredibly fast. Service was good and we enjoyed our meal. The app allows you to order drinks and food right from your phone easily.
Brilliantly decor'd Wetherspoons, staff run off there feet as usual. Used the app alot to get served. Which saved time stood at the bar. Food very good, especially the pizza. Over all very good.Anyhoo!.
I ordered a beef burger. It wasn't the best I've ever had. I like my cheese melted and the beef was burnt. Also the bacon was... it wasn't the best burger. But what ruined my experience was the waiter (male kinda chubby, didn't catch his name) he was rude AF. Oh, and at the counter where I made my order the bartenders prioritized other people before me. I wouldn't go back unless I'm desperate. I give it 2 stars coz of the ambience
I like this pub, but Sunday night service was a rare blip. There was one (new) member of staff who was serving, collecting glasses, serving food, wiping tables and offering exceptional customer service whilst rushing around to get stuff done. And then there were at least 4 other menbers of staff who were working at 1/4 pace. I ordered a round of drinks via the app and it took almost 20 minutes to be delivered to the table whilst staff sat idly by. Fire them all. Clone the good one!Pizza was nice. Will order again
We all love a Spoons, cheap cheerful and you get what you pay for that's for sure. Staff are great. Security always around making it a nice place to relax and potentially watch someone who can't handle tbeir drink get escorted out. Most importantly, the food is filling and drinks are liquid. What more do you need? Oh,actually a few more seats would be appreciated as its often so busy you end up having to stand unless you have been there since 10am.
