A genuine local pub which serves the most delicious Sunday roast. There is a choice of beef, chicken or pork served with a Yorkshire pudding, a ball of stuffing, proper roast potatoes and a generous selection of fresh vegetables all combined with a goodly portion of homemade gravy. Other main courses are also available along with a variety of desserts. Service is efficient and friendly and the price makes this an excellent place for value for money. Once tried, often repeated! Nice atmosphere. Nice ales. Pity the kitchen closes early, because I would have liked to try Desperadoes and Nachos.
