Fantastic to see this place back open for business. Beautiful interior makes it a great place to take friends and family and enjoy the great lively open area's... Hopefully the food will be back on soon enough, can't wait for the Friday and Saturday nights to be down the local again!
First visit ,new landlord very friendly , but has a mountain of work to do after the last landlord , lady done a runner . The pub itself is very clean and pleasant , once they get the rooms sorted , yes you can book a room as well , i really hope they do well . The last thing we need is the loss of another local . Friendly staff and nice cold beer on tap - that's about it. Kitchen is closed till unknown and there are absolutely no food options around. Rooms are small,but fine for a traditional pub. Cleanliness would however need to improve. Good bathrooms. The biggest disaster: no functional wifi.The three stars are really for the good staff.
I prefer a cider rather than a beer, there's not a big choice of the ciders, but we had found a good Czech beer from Staropramen the Pravha, a bit expensive but tasty.
Good pub which is usually quiet which is a shame. Has a lot to offer if your looking for a decent pub. Lots of space inside. Good range of drinks and a pool table. Nice garden area
