Left at side of road for 3 hours before driver calls and says "I'm just not coming". Lovely New Years Day treat to be left there like that at 23:00 for 3 hours before they decided they couldn't recover our vehicle. Shocking.
This company should be closed. They let us wait 4 hours to come when our car was broke, then realized they can't do it & need other equipment so they asked for more money. When we refused and canceled the service, they kept the keys & let us wait 2 hours in front of their office. On top of that, charged us full amount. Lol I don't understand how they are still in business with this behavior 'Nothing close to customer service'.
The insurance company of the third party that smashed into the back of my car use The Mansfield group. Scheduled pick up over a 5 hour window, Wednesday morning, 7am to Noon. Get a call at 11.30am to say the trick and driver are 10-15 mins out. The insurance company that has booked and paid for the transport to the bodyshop has specifically told them to take it straight there. Driver tells me at Midday that he will call me when he drops it off. Three hours later having heard nothing, I call the bodyshop and he has not received the car. I call TMG on their 0870 number and despite it connecting to charge me no one picks up the phone. I call the insurance company who after a protracted hold and some phone calls around tell me my car has been dropped off at a depot overnight 32 kms out of the way and will be delivered the following morning.!? Btw the total journey from my house to specialist bodyshop is 98 km 1h5mins. Disgraceful service and have no permission to keep my car. When they call they use a withheld number but dont answer their business phone number. Would never use again. Avoid like the plague. They also have the contract for recovering vehicles for the Police at 150 a pop.
Fast efficient smooth service. Lady at counter was polite, friendly and didn't dither.The other recovery specialist drivers were decent too.Don't think they should charge storage on the weekends though if the office is closed, it's cheap anyways so more of an inconvenience then anything else.Drama free interaction.Ps no point calling the woking office via the head office option as no answer.
Car broke down on the A20 after having been sent an obnoxious recovery driver from Auto Renovations, shame I didn't get his name, along comes Danny from Mansfield Group. He was so pleasant, courteous and quickly got us on our way. He put us at ease and explained why we had to wait so long. He even offered my daughter a pillow as she suffers from a bad back. Danny is a fantastic asset and credit to your company. He is a real Knight in shining armour. Wish all recovery drivers were like him He is a top bloke!! Thank you so much Danny really appreciate your assistance.
