I dont know for the rest of the store, but the team in charge of the bike/cycling area is amazing, always really helpful and quick to prep an order/fix a bike, this halfords is by far the best ive ever been to for my bikes, would 100% recommend to go there thanks to the team who saved my daily commute once again today
Needed wipers urgently, brought some Bosch ones which cost the earth but did a fantastic job. The sales lady was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and if I was in the area again I would pop by again.
I went into Halford in Woking with my Carrera Sulcata as I needed my rear wheel replaced. I must say I was very impressed with the staff at the bicycle section. They were all very attentive, but Sam stood out. He was passionate, with great knowledge and helpful. It was 6:30pm and he was going on Holiday but he said he would work a bit late just to change the wheel for me. Within the hour the wheel was changed and I was back on my bike which rode perfectly. Thanks for the excellent customer service, I will definitely be returning.
Took my car for an installation of a dash cam and it was a complete mess. The installation took 3 hours instead of 1.5 hours, where I had to sit over the installer and help them diagnose their issues (like fuses and crimps) but to top it off they broke a clip to my interior to clip back my covers. Not at all happy, was a total shambles, not to mention I had to go back to them to get an admittance of liability, however they did say they would pay for it and the staff was apologetic but it doesn't solve the aggro I will go through
Pleasantly surprised with the good service, its great for those little maintenance jobs on your car, things like bulb changes and battery changes. They will do it for you for a small fixed fee. I needed advice on bulbs and oil and the guy who fitted my bulb kindly put the oil in for me too and gave me advice. Just very handy! Also do bikes, camping accessories and all sorts of motor accessories.
