I had the unfortunate pleasure of my washing machine breaking down yesterday. I had never visited a laundrette before but must say I am pleasantly surprised with this one.The machines were clean as was the shop. I needed some advice and the owner was happy to help me on the phone. I highly recommend this place to anyone
Very helpful owner only a call away, make sure you take 1 coins as these are best for the washers. The dryers take any coins which is great I will definitely be visiting during the winter months.
I used this place the other day when our washing machine broke down. Very easy to use for someone whos never been to a laundrette before. I had a couple of questions, but those that werent answered by the signage were answered with a quick phone call to them.To any first time users like me wanting to know in advance, a couple of tips I picked up:The washing machines take 1 coins only, small machines are 5, up to large at 7 at the time of typing, but small is a good size (it washed 1.5x what our machine would), but the key thing is it is pound coins only (ie. you cant use 50ps etc.), so have a good stash of pound coins with youYou dont have to stay with your washing, though leaving it is obviously at your own risk, but the cycles actually so quick theres no point leaving unless its to nip to the shop round the corner (I used Wash and Wear cycle and I think it took about 20 mins)All in all a very easy and convenient experience, that I will repeat if the washer ever breaks again or if I have something too large to fit in our washer!
